comps
sketching a sandbox for tracking sold prices and chasing sneaky ebay data.

jump to ebay
sold listings, ready for crawling later.

ebay search · sold & completed

Manual clicks for now; soon, we'll quietly harvest the data instead of scrolling forever.

card comps lab
a test bed for turning messy listings into clean signals.

Goal: build a lightweight comps tool that ingests sold auction results, normalizes player/grade/variant, and surfaces the believable median faster than a weekend spreadsheet binge.

This page will eventually host the ingest and display layers; for now it's a mood board with a live link out to the source.

sketches & possible modules
  • Query rail: quick search by player, set, grade, and parallel with saved shortcuts for personal chases.
  • Price lane: rolling medians, floor/ceiling bands, and a "trust score" that filters out suspicious anomalies.
  • Lot disassembler: split multi-card lots into per-card estimates, tagging unusual freebies.
  • Heatmap view: week-over-week deltas plus alerts when velocity spikes for a watched card.
  • Export hatch: CSV/JSON buttons for pushing comps into buying checklists or liquidation planning.
